Fun Run with Drinks

Saturday 5th September 2026 @12 noon

Prosecco 21

Prosecco 21.png

You asked & we listened. New for 2026, it's the Prosecco 21.

The big question now though is, can you drink Prosecco & run at the same time? You're a trail runner, of course you can.

The Format

Modelled on our now infamous Beer 21, the Prosecco 21 starts at 12 Noon outside Mickleham Village Hall where after the race starts, you will you run to the aid station table to have your first Prosecco. Once you've drunk that, you then start on your first lap of three miles. Every lap when you're back at the Aid station, you drink your next glass of Prosecco, all the way through to seven laps & 21 miles. When you've completed your seventh lap & drank your 8th glass of vino & because every good night out on the vino ends with cake, you make your way to our Canary Trails pop up bakery. Once you've eaten your slice of cake, you then stagger inside to the final drinks table where you have your last glass of Prosecco. The first person to finish their last glass of vino wins! (Glasses are 100ml)

The race in numbers, 21 miles, 9 glasses of Prosecco, 7 laps, 7hrs & 1 cake.

Once the race is over, you are more than welcome to stay for some post race music & more beer & wine!

Mandatory Kit

  • An inflatable canary/toy... That's it!

  • (Fancy dress is encouraged)

It was the idea of our Co_Founder, Mark Thornberry. It’s a bit of fun that makes our races a little different. Your canary can be as simple as a printed picture of Tweety-Pie pinned to your race pack, or a giant inflatable. They all count. If you choose not to and incur a fine - it all goes to the Kings College Hospital Liver Cancer Charity in Mark’s memory. The Beer 21 requires the inflatable Canary as Mandatory kit.
