Can't share this so I took a screenshot. The gift pile from the runners at the Copthorne Races the last two years.

This is our third year partnering with Cash for Kids "Mission Christmas" at the Copthorne Races & honestly, I’m floored all over again.
The generosity shown by our runners and marshals never fails to amaze me. You’ve given not just gifts, but hope & in this time of need, that means more than you know.
Every child deserves a little magic at Christmas & with what you’ve donated, we get to pass on a spark of that magic to families who are struggling more than most of us will ever understand.
There are already over 250,000 applications from children who otherwise may wake up to nothing. No presents. No excitement. No Christmas at all as it's a luxury their parents cannot afford.
But!! Because of you, some of those children won’t feel forgotten this year.
From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you.

Rebecca Lane becomes the first person to get the Canary Slam finishing four epic races in a calendar year! The Winterfold 55, Surrey Hills Marathon, The Two Towers 50k Night race & the Copthorne 50mile.
Epic racing throughout this year.
She goes home with her medal & Slam slate. The bespoke solid oak board with her times on it will be made next week & sent onto her
Congratulations Rebecca! 🎉

New finish line banner for the Copthorne Races.

Who's looking forward to standing in front of this at the weekend?
Been trying to compose an appropriate answer! Looking forward to having completed it, but also hoping I 'enjoy' the many hours beforehand, sort of, maybe...?

Fantastic blog from Lizzie Gatherer, the only person to have finished the Copthorne 100 not once, but twice. In it, she talks honestly about the mindset you need to take on this race: the highs, the lows, the stubborn grit and the quiet moments where you just keep putting one foot in front of the other.
As she gears up for her third attempt, Lizzie’s aiming to become the first ever runner to bag the Copthorne 100 Triple Crown. If you’re thinking about taking on the challenge yourself or just want a bit of inspiration from someone who properly knows what they’re talking about, her blog is well worth a read.

Waste of time cleaning them - leave them until next year, as they are going to look like that after first time down Kamikaze ..........
